Gone from the market for years, durable, sturdy hemp fabric is available again! This is a mid weight, flexible yet tough fabric suitable for upholstery, jackets coats, pants skirts dresses, bedding, drapes - everything!
This is a balanced weave fabric with a warp and weft the same quality yarn. Good fibre length at greater than two inch average. Very durable.
My favorite use for this fabric is a two yard piece, zig-zag stay stitched along the cut edge, but not hemmed, washed but never ironed, used for a wrap around skirt/sarong for beachwear. Remember, hemp is the one fibre that is not damaged by salt water! It's also very absorbant, excellent for use as towels.
100% Hemp, better than "Organic Grown" because it's crafted from plants growing in the wild in the foothills of the Himalaya mountains. Homespun nd woven on antique equipment by families in their farm homes in Nepal.
