This new 100% hemp yarn is perfect for wearable hemp garments and can be woven, knit or crocheted. Also excellent for macrame jewelry and knitted or crochet face cloths. Spun from long staple combed hemp top, the fibre length is approximately 3 inches.
This hemp yarn is crafted from fibre grown and processed in Nepal using Organic methods. It is very evenly spun making it an excellent choice for a machine knitter. It's very strong while still being soft to the hand, without any itchiness like hemp twines or the weakness of "cottonized" short fiber hemp yarns. It's natural colour is of a light silvery beige, and it dyes beautifully with any of our natural dyes.
