“This jacket design actually began with the “Greek Olives” mustard coloured spun silk that was my third ‘by the bolt’ machine-assisted Natural Dyed colour.  The fabric was 55” and I cut and sew’d this in an inspiration of simplicity. It is so simple, yet hangs so elegantly and flows so nicely.  Something about it reminds me of a doctor’s coat, I always feel so professional in it.  I feel like I can work miracles.” –Cheryl

Chest girth:  54” (137 cm)  adjustable larger by leaving front open, adjustable smaller by crossing the front panels.

Tan with printing in black.  The black print may vary from stark and bold brown-black, called “bold print”,  to a soft, almost blue-black or charcoal, called “light print”.

We describe the printing designs, understanding that each piece is a unique one of a kind.

“Body” refers to the printing that goes across the front of the jacket. 

“Arms” refers to the printing that extends out the arms.

 According to the traditional design sense of the block artist, only the front of the jacket is printed.

Note:  All work is hand done.  Irregularities of printing and dyework are part of the charm of each piece.
