Hand reeled, organically raised heritage strain of silk. Hand woven on traditional foot-pedal looms.
This fabric is woven from 100% natural silk that has been hand reeled from the cocoon. Hand reeling on simple home equipment allows families to reel the pierced breeder cocoons. Thus this is reeled "Peace" Silk!

Ideal for the thinnest of the transparent gauzy scarves or for therapeutic use for bandages, especially for large burns. Silk can be easily sterilized by a simple 10 minute boil in plain water and can then be reused.
