India silk raising is still on a small family farm scale, completely free of polutants and additives, where the strains raised go back to antiquity. Reeled in small open establishments and woven in small locally owned and operated mills, this is a fabric whose production is fully sustainable in all aspects. In addition, the purchase of India produced silks directly benefits rural sustainability and the small family farms.
