Lavender

The newest colours from India

A lovely soft and light lavender, especially nice for children’s clothing. Dyed for us with the local root Mungeet, by a Skal certified 100% Natural Dyeworks that we partner with in India.  Cheryl has personally visited the dyeworks twice and affirms that it is clean, healthy, open air, with well compensated, adult workers.  It is also 100% recycle, with waste water and spent dyestuffs used to mulch and water an adjacent garden where the workers can grow vegetables for their families. IMPORTANT NOTE:  This lavender is not perfectly fast to light.  It slowly changes to a more rose pink tone.  It is showing good fastness to washing, and the tone of the colour, which has subtle abrajz shifts in the rose to blue violet, evens out with more washing.
