This fabric's warp and weft are both smooth spun Ahimsa™ Peace silk. "Peace" silk, also called vegetarian silk, is from cocoons from which the moth has completed its transformation and emerges free and happy. For more information, read Cheryl's "About Peace Silk" article.
Staple is ~ 2”. The warp yarn is two-ply for luster, hand and durability. The weft in this new creation is a 3-ply, multi-ply. This gives the fabric a substantial hand and exceptional durability.
