Natural tussah colour with all the variegation gives this natural fibre its distinctive look.

Balanced plain weave of thick and sturdy spun tussah, combed long staple. One of the sturdiest fabrics possible, yet washes up soft and lofty.

Commonly used for: An ideal fabric for "Gee" martial arts clothing, warm pants, suit jackets and blazers, blankets, neck scarves, shawls and throws. Upholstery.
Weft shrinkage: 0%
Warp shrinkage: 8%
Recommended care: Tailored suit option: always dry-clean. When washed (machine wash, gentle cycle, mild soap or detergent, tumble dry on low heat), the fabric thickens and softens.
Some of the colour variegation evens out on washing.
