This is a standard fabric for the garment industry, used for blouses, lingerie, and scarves. The fabric is medium lightweight (12.5 mm). Shiny satin on one side and matte crepe on the other. Woven from conventionally raised silk that has been reeled from the cocoon -- only reeled silk can make this lustrous satin.

Raised and woven in India, this is a medium weight 16 momme satin. The drape is wonderful and the fabric is thick enough to be opaque even in undyed white.
