Tussah x Tussah Wild Silk Fabric

This fabric is one of the world treasures of fine silk fabrics. The natural shimmery golden colour of this rare, wild silk needs no dye to enhance its exquisite beauty. Produced on a village scale from wild silkworm cocoons. Woven on foot-powered, hand operated looms, which creates a subtle unevenness. This is a rare silk and an exceptional, all hand made fabric.

All village hand spun and village hand woven means there is a natural variegation to this fabric. This variegation in colour and weave is exactly what makes this fabric so exceptional!
