As a handspinner you will immediately feel the difference. Even the best quality creamy Dutch fibre feels dry and does not draft as smoothly as does this hemp. It contains almost no course fibres, and has a beautiful soft luster. Because of this luster it looks beautiful in natural and also easily dyes rich colours. Standard natural dye recipes work well with this hemp, using proportions as for silk (mordant as for wool, then double the dyestuff).
