Truly an exceptional 100% hemp yarn. Very strong, with a fine luster and soft enough for wonderfully wearable hemp garments, woven, knit or crocheted. Also the finest for jewelry, especially when Naturally Dyed.
Fibre grown and processed in Eastern Europe, using Organic methods. Exclusively spun for Aurora Silk from combed hemp top. Fibres range from one to two inches long. This yarn is very evenly spun, which makes this an excellent choice for beadwork. Takes Natural Dyes beautifully, especially Natural Indigo. This exceptionally lustrous hemp yarn is made from fiber grown and processed in Eastern Europe, using organic methods. The hemp yarn is very evenly spun, a rare feat for staple this long and yarn this fine. Its evenness makes this an excellent beading choice.
Very strong, this yarn will make the sturdiest of crochets and laces.
This hemp is soft to the hand, without the itchiness of the hemp twines, while retaining the hallmark sturdiness of the hemp fiber. Unlike the hemp twines which become felted and dull after washing, this yarn will become more beautiful and lustrous with washing
