The lovely sheen and incredibly soft hand tell that this is SILK, the Queen of fibres. Our most popular knitting size yarn, lustrous and easy to handle. Knits at about 4 to 5 stitches per inch. We always recommend you knit a swatch, wet out and block it, then measure and use this as your gauge.
About 1,200 yards to the pound. 100% natural, soft white - no bleaches or optical whiteners. Spun silk with a long 4 inch staple, combed and very regularly spun. The size is 5/2 Metric Count. Approximately 50% Peace silk from Breeder cocoons. Fibre from China, spun in Europe.
