FAQ: Yarn

Can I be sure all skeins of a colour I purchase will match?
Yarn dyelots are 4 to 5 skeins. If you need more to complete a project, please be aware that dyelots vary. Custom dyelots and other colours can be arranged; please contact Master Natural Dyer Cheryl Kolander.

What if I work with a mixture of dyed and undyed yarns?
Dyeing naturally thickens and preshrinks the yarn. If you mix dyed fibre with natural white, you must preshrink the natural. Easy instructions for preshrinking are included with your order.

What's a one-two yarn?
CALLED ONE-TWO because it is a "number 1," that is 1,000 meters per kilo. And it is a 2-ply.  In "English" measurements it has 230 yards to the pound.

Do you sell any type of thread that would be fine enough and strong enough to be used as a fishing line?
Depending on the size of fish, either of the two-reeled 3-ply cords would be worth trying.
