For floating, drapey elegance, nothing compares to a really fine woven silk. Excellent for weaving, machine knitting, hand and machine sewing (most machines), quilting and all needle arts. Used by beaders for stringing gemstomes and pearl beads, and by artists in fine beaded crochet. Sett at about 40 epi. Used by needlepointers on very fine canvases. 60/3 N.m. 9000 yds/lb.
